During the first outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic in Belgium, we decided to provide pro-bono consultancy services for local health care institutions. Being familiar with viruses and microbes and how to reduce the risk of cross contamination, we were best placed to advice on GMP practices like hygiene, personnel & material flows, gowning , face covering, facility lay out, disinfectant materials, segregation of waste etc. Together with the development of new filter materials for face mask covers, we were able to advise people working in health care in a supportive way.
Social responsibility is one of our core values, so we took this opportunity to develop a business continuity plan for health care centers and provided strategic direction towards a healthier work environment for care givers and patients.
